About Us
Owner – David McLeod
I have lived in Napa Valley since 1984, I love dogs and cannot remember a time when they were not an integral part of my life. I have been involved in casual dog breeding over the past 40 years. It has become a concentrated passion over the past 5 years. After retiring from a 30-year healthcare career, I adopted my beautiful, sweet, and loyal, brindle-colored Labradoodle, Allie (Allie-Gator). I always had an affinity for Labs. However, due to my fierce pet allergies, when procuring a family pet, we became a Standard Poodle Family, We were drawn to this breed due to the dog’s intelligence, temperament, and hypoallergenic coats. Now, however, I have the best of both worlds! A Labradoodle is a perfect blend of both breeds and Allie has been one of the best companions I’ve ever had.
Our Services
You can rest assured you are getting a healthy well-rounded puppy. All of our babies come from DNA-tested parents, with proven healthy lines. Then once the puppies arrive, we start with early socialization and stimulation. When you take your puppy home, we include the following:
Vet visits / shots
The puppies are taken to the veterinarian, within the first few days, to have their dewclaws removed. They are seen by the veterinarian at eight weeks old, for a complete health/physical exam, initial vaccinations, and de-worming. (We are no longer providing microchips, to maintain reasonable adoption fees.)
potty training
As soon as the pup’s eyes are open, We place them on “POTTY PADS” to begin potty awareness. When the pups are ready for their new homes, Potty routines are well in hand.
Boarding
At Napa Valley Labradoodles, we understand that sometimes life takes you away from your beloved furry friend. Whether you’re heading out for a vacation, a business trip, or any other reason, you can trust our dedicated team to provide exceptional care and attention to your Labradoodle while you’re away.

LOVED AND ACCLIMATED
Puppies are initially weighed daily to track growth and development. I spend a tremendous amount of time with the pups, both collectively and individually, daily. By the time the pups are old enough for adoption, they are very comfortable playing together and interacting with people. they are held, loved and well cared for. They have a run of 1/4 of an acre, which includes 3600 sq ft of lawn.

Waiting List
Our “Waiting List” feature allows you to schedule an appointment to meet our breeding dogs and learn more about our breeding program. You can also reserve a puppy from a current or upcoming litter by filling out our booking form.
